The Lottery@RENT

In the Broadway tradition of RENT and in the spirit of making theater affordable to audiences all over, 9 Works Theatrical is launching The Lottery@RENT, a special promo in which orchestra seats will be raffled off to lucky audience members before the start of each show. This is an effort that is regularly done in Broadway, and is something that 9 Works Theatrical will recreate for this run of RENT as a gift or premium to its loyal and future patrons.

The mechanics are as follows:

1. 1.The contestant will have to register with the Carlos P. Romulo Theater Front of House (FoH) at the RCBC Plaza, Ayala corner Sen. Gil Puyat Avenues, Makati City two hours before the start of each show. (For example, for the 3:30pm matinée, they will have to be at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium as early as 1:30pm to register).
   

2. 2.Registration will take place two hours, until one-and-a-half hours before the start of each show. (For example, for the 3:30pm matinée, registration will take place between 1:30pm – 2:00pm)
   

3. 3.Upon registering, the contestant will have to fill in a corresponding info sheet to be provided by 9 Works Theatrical, under the supervision of a designated FoH member, and submit the attached raffle stub to the FoH as his/her official entry to the said raffle.
   

4. 4.No more than one (1) info sheet, and one (1) raffle stub (containing the names of the contestant and his/her companion), may be filled out and submitted by the contestant.
   

5. 5.Seven (7) Winners will be declared an hour before the show and will be announced at the show venue by a member of the FoH. (For example, for the 3:30pm matinée, the winners will be declared at 2:30pm exactly).
   

6. 6.In the event that a winner and his/her companion are selected separately as winners of the said raffle, only one winner will be honored, subject to the consent of the two winners, an FoH member, and an official representative of 9 Works Theatrical.
   

7. 7.Show buyers, Block Buyers, Ticket Agents, Ticket World, and/or 9 Works Theatrical will not be held liable in the event that a contestant does not win the said promo, and for whatever reason (e.g. Full House Capacity), is not able to watch that particular show of RENT.
   

8. 8.Each winner will be able to purchase two (2) predetermined orchestra seats at P350.00 each, to that same show of RENT, subject to the following rules stated below. (Please read!)
   

Rules are as follows:

1. 1.Seats are non-transferable to any other show date and is only valid for the show in which the contestant joined the raffle.
   

2. 2.Seats provided are portable chairs, and are located at the designated in the orchestra section (in green, kindly consult the seat plan below).
   

3. 3.Seats are not convertible to cash, or any other value.
   

4. 4.Winners are not allowed to refund previously bought tickets from show buyers, block buyers, and/or 9 Works Theatrical – in favor of purchasing discounted orchestra seats.
   

5. 5.Actual Tickets will not be provided to the winners. Instead, the winner and his/her companion will be stamped by the FoH and will be guided accordingly to their designated seats.
   

6. 6.Seats are forfeited if the show is canceled due to force majeure, and will be refunded by 9 Works Theatrical, subject to deliberation by an FoH Member and a Representative of 9 Works Theatrical.
